S - Scripture: Physically write out the verse or verses of the text that speaks specifically to you
O - Observation: What do you see in the text? Who is speaking? Who is the audience? Is there repetition of words? What stands out to you?
A - Application: This is where you make it personal. What is God saying today? How can I apply what I just read to my life personally? What change do I need to make? Is there an action I need to take?
P - Prayer: Pray God's Word back to Him. If He has revealed something to you during this time in His word, pray about it. Confess it if He has revealed some sin or weakness in your life.
